Currying flavor from London to Brooklyn

THE CLIENT

Corner Delhi, a new-fashioned Indian restaurant concept in Brooklyn, NY, approached us to create a comprehensive brand identity and website. The chef-owner wanted to highlight his British-Indian background and family recipes in a space that evoked the charm of a neighborhood European bistro while bringing in the experience of 'Bombay to Brooklyn'.

THE RESULT

We developed a brand identity centered around a hand-drawn logo—designed to stand apart from contemporary minimalism and evoke a sense of history. This approach extended to hand-lettering signage. This extended to hand-lettered signage and a vintage-inspired floor pattern, nodding to the charm of neighborhood bistros. The branding pulled from the owner’s collection of vintage Indian memorabilia, weaving nostalgia into every detail. Even the website carried that same warmth, with a wallpaper-like design that echoed the physical space.

Working closely with the client, we created a space that feels both lived-in and fresh—where London meets Bombay over a table in Brooklyn.
